Description

  • Lead complex workplace investigations and provide documented recommendations.
  • Advise leaders on employee complaints, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, terminations, and sensitive workplace matters.
  • Coach executives, General Managers, and people managers on performance, accountability, conflict, and difficult conversations.
  • Lead and improve performance management processes across the organization.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and manage employment-related risk.
  • Develop, interpret, standardize, and implement scalable HR policies and procedures across brands and locations.
  • Support acquisitions, integrations, organizational changes, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Maintain employee relations case records and documentation standards.
  • Mentor HR team members and use employee relations data to identify organizational risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant employee relations experience.
  • 3+ years of HR leadership or senior HR business partner experience supporting managers and senior leaders.
  • Experience in residential services, home services, field services, construction, skilled trades, or another distributed workforce environment.
  • Experience conducting complex workplace investigations and advising on sensitive employment matters.
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state workforces, including corporate and field-based employees.
  • Experience with ADP/ADP Workforce Now and benefits administration, including 401(k).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance, FMLA, ADA accommodations, leaves, and wage-and-hour matters.
  • Strong written communication, documentation, confidentiality, judgment, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Acquisition or integration experience, HRIS and case-management system experience, ServiceTitan familiarity, or SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple complex matters, and navigate difficult conversations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings required.
