Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for immigration inquiries, visa assessments, case status, and strategy.
  • Manage a high-volume immigration case portfolio across the US, EMEA, JAPAC, and LATAM, including permanent residence processes.
  • Coordinate with outside immigration counsel on petitions, timelines, RFE responses, audits, and compliance matters.
  • Track work authorization expirations and ensure timely renewals and escalations.
  • Partner with People Partners and Talent Acquisition to assess sponsorship feasibility for hires and internal transfers.
  • Develop immigration resources, FAQs, playbooks, compliance documentation, and stakeholder training.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and manage reporting, dashboards, trackers, I-9 compliance, and escalations.
  • Coordinate international relocations and support global mobility, M&A, and international expansion initiatives.
  • Manage immigration vendors and improve program processes, budgeting, and administration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing immigration for EMEA, APAC, and AMER at a global technology company or employment-based immigration law firm.
  • Deep expertise in US nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, OPT, PERM, EB-1/EB-2, AOS, and EADs.
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and complex immigration matters, including international relocations or assignments.
  • Experience with People Operations compliance projects.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly in written and verbal communications.
  • Experience supporting immigration needs related to M&A activity preferred.
  • Strong Singapore immigration and COMPASS framework expertise preferred.
  • Knowledge of international assignment management, cross-border tax, business traveler compliance, and permanent establishment risks preferred.
