Description

  • Generate quotes, track opportunities, and process orders in Salesforce.com.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries.
  • Suggest pricing and payment solutions that balance customer needs with pricing policies.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, outside Sales Executives, Accounting, and Contracts teams.
  • Develop and maintain product, industry, vendor, and service knowledge.
  • Build and retain relationships with key vendors and customers.
  • Participate in regional forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis to support forecast accuracy.
  • Manage multiple tasks, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Assist Marketing with planning and coordinating regional events, including vendor sponsorships, invitations, and venue arrangements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve customer deliverables.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Background in the IT industry preferred.
  • Prior experience with CRM software required; Salesforce.com experience preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
  • Technical sales/support and outbound calling experience preferred.
  • Strong prioritization, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
  • Solid math skills, including the ability to calculate margins, discounts, and percentages.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.
  • Ability to work well on a team and use good judgment when analyzing information.
  • Positive attitude, strong drive for results, and comfort dealing with ambiguity.
