Description

  • Serve as the dedicated Account Manager supporting a specified Account Executive’s business across assigned accounts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and drive them to resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and GuidePoint resources.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of products, industry trends, vendor resources, and GuidePoint Security service offerings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and the Account Executive’s customers.
  • Use vendor relationships and resources to add value for customers.
  • Increase the frequency and depth of customer engagement for the Account Executive’s account base.
  • Manage open opportunities in existing accounts with guidance from the Account Executive.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities with customers and vendors.
  • Represent the Account Executive in customer meetings as needed.
  • Support renewal, upsell, and new business sales cycles with Account Executive guidance.
  • Assist with upcoming renewals, proactive account support, marketing follow-up, and promotion of professional services engagements.
  • Support forecast management, internal strategic reporting, and, if required, quote generation and opportunity tracking in Salesforce.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven success in inside sales.
  • Cybersecurity experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong multitasking ability.
  • A positive attitude, strong drive for results, and comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear communication by email, phone, and written documents.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
