Description

  • Partner with the Sales team to communicate Grafana Labs’ value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to potential and existing customers.
  • Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to share feedback on products and the competitive landscape.
  • Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems uncovered during interactions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to route customer feedback into the organization.
  • Work with the team to improve documentation and create enablement content such as blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support ongoing customer education and enablement through hands-on interaction and technical expertise.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally in open source technologies or the metrics/monitoring space.
  • Ideally located in the Greater NYC or Boston area.
  • Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, international team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and technical product advantages.
  • Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
  • Experience in post-sales or engineering, or a recent coding bootcamp graduate is welcomed as a plus.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive mindset.
  • Experience solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions is preferred.
