Description

  • Prospect and close new business with net-new customers across the West region.
  • Identify, nurture, and convert opportunities through the full sales cycle.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Manage all stages of the sales process, including meetings, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs before presenting products.
  • Communicate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise to prospective customers.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests.
  • Work closely with customers during the trial phase and support a smooth handoff to Customer Success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure technology sales.
  • Consistent history of goal achievement in a highly competitive environment, ideally as a top 10% performer.
  • Strong communication skills across in-person, online, and written channels.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both in person and virtually.
  • Adaptability and experience working in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Energy, entrepreneurial drive, tenacity, and a collaborative team mindset.
  • Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a bonus.
  • Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.
