Description

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Account Executives.
  • Drive revenue growth and build a pipeline to exceed revenue targets.
  • Set sales territories, quotas, and goals for the region.
  • Build and maintain an annual sales plan aligned to organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Meet with prospects and work with sales representatives to close deals.
  • Prepare the team for QBRs and HBRs.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships within the customer account base.
  • Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineers, R&D, Customer Support, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Guide the team through a consultative sales approach focused on prospect needs and product fit.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the assigned region.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading successful sales teams.
  • Minimum 8 years of successful direct sales experience.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles lasting 2-6 months.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including in-person and virtual presentations.
  • Comfort building relationships with C-level executives.
  • Proven track record of shaping strategic seven-figure deals.
  • MEDDPICC expertise.
  • Experience using ROI and cost modeling to educate and support buyers.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Technical background and experience selling visualization, APM, or cloud-based tooling is preferred.
  • Experience with open-source software is a plus.
