Description

  • Intake, clarify, and prioritize configuration change requests from clients and internal teams.
  • Translate business constraints into executable configurations across payment methods and merchant IDs (MIDs).
  • Configure and maintain payment methods, acquirer connections, and MIDs in the Back Office.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end validation, including request/response mapping, callbacks, and reconciliation checks.
  • Coordinate production launches with Engineering, SRE, Compliance, and Support to ensure readiness.
  • Provide L3 support, investigate incidents, and resolve configuration-related issues.
  • Analyze logs and transactions using observability tools to ensure configuration stability.
  • Define monitoring dashboards and alerts for approval rates, errors, and provider performance.
  • Maintain documentation and workflows, and serve as the subject-matter expert for Payment Gateway configuration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in payment integration configurations or a similar role.
  • Experience in configurations, QA, or Business Analysis within payments or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of JSON and XML, including payload and provider schema configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with REST clients and API contract validation.
  • Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL for data validation and diagnostics.
  • Experience with webhooks/callback verification and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Git/GitLab for configuration versioning and change control.
  • Basic understanding of CI/CD processes.
  • Solid understanding of payment flows including authorization, capture, settlement, refund, and void.
  • Knowledge of 3DS/SCA flows and MID management.
  • Awareness of compliance and risk controls such as KYC, AML, and fraud rules.
  • Practical experience with Postman or similar REST tools, JIRA, Confluence, manual testing, and log analysis tools.
  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to manage multiple tasks, and understanding of SDLC processes.
  • Experience in the iGaming industry is a nice to have.
