Description

Promote MISUMI products and services to design engineers, mechanical engineers, buyers, and other technical stakeholders.
Deliver technical presentations as a subject matter expert to design engineering groups.
Collaborate with the sales team to support growth goals.
Provide internal and external technical design support on materials, fits, tolerances, lifespans, engineering calculations, sizing, CAD models, website functions, and related topics.
Own end-to-end solution development from RFQ through order and customer engagement.
Manage large, custom, and competitor cross-over quoting opportunities with internal and overseas teams to win new business.
Work with Customer Service and Procurement to resolve quality claims and ensure quality compliance.
Identify internal inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Create technical content for webinars, seminars, videos, websites, catalogs, and other marketing collateral.
Support market research and provide insights for the machine design industry.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Robotics, Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
3 years of application or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Experience sizing and specifying mechanical assemblies with assembly capabilities.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
Working knowledge of 3D CAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint), and CRM software.
VB and VBA knowledge is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, driven, responsible, and results-oriented.
Ability to work independently as an individual technical contributor.

Benefits

Salary range of $64,000 to $90,000 per year based on experience.
