Description

  • Deliver support to open-source users and enterprise customers through chat, forums, GitHub, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer issues accurately and promptly.
  • Develop deep technical expertise in GitOps, Argo, and Akuity’s offerings.
  • Identify common support patterns and escalate issues to engineering when needed.
  • Build and improve support playbooks, processes, and systems.
  • Contribute to customer-facing documentation to improve the support experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing support role.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Argo CD in a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, or GitOps concepts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain context clearly and thoughtfully.
  • Enthusiasm for being a primary point of contact for open-source and enterprise customers.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset focused on anticipating issues and designing scalable solutions.
  • Strong systems thinking skills and the ability to identify root causes.
  • Experience using and administering Argo projects such as Argo CD, Argo Workflows, Argo Events, or Argo Rollouts (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and managed Kubernetes services such as EKS, AKS, or GKE (preferred).
