Description

  • Lead engineering teams delivering sports betting content and functionality for the B2B platform.
  • Manage team performance through regular evaluations, feedback, and development planning.
  • Resolve team conflicts and foster a collaborative, open working environment.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation with stakeholders.
  • Manage team schedules and coverage, including time-off coordination.
  • Enforce quality assurance standards and ensure thorough testing before release.
  • Review and approve technical designs, architecture, and code to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Maintain clear documentation for technical designs, system architecture, and code.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing better practices.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the team, management, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Experience in the betting or trading domain.
  • Strong experience with C#/.NET for building scalable, high-load backend systems.
  • Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka or similar.
  • Strong expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and scaling.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to make architectural decisions and take end-to-end ownership.
  • Experience operating high-availability, low-latency systems.
  • Experience with Orleans, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, or Aerospike is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as APM, logging, and tracing is preferred.
  • Understanding of FinOps or cloud cost optimization is preferred.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading engineers is preferred.
