Description

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new government contract opportunities across federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Leverage existing government and industry relationships to generate business and expand the contract pipeline.
  • Manage awarded contracts and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific requirements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, modifications, renewals, and closeouts.
  • Partner with recruiting, credentialing, operations, and finance teams to support contract execution and fulfillment.
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, bid submissions, and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain audit-ready contract documentation and reporting systems.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with contracting officers and key government stakeholders.
  • Track regulatory changes and update internal processes to maintain compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in government contracting, with a strong preference for healthcare staffing or healthcare services.
  • Demonstrated success generating and winning government contracts, not only managing them.
  • Established network of government contacts and industry relationships that can be leveraged for business development.
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar credential preferred.
  • Experience working with agencies such as the VA, DoD, or CMS preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare staffing compliance, credentialing, and licensure requirements preferred.
