Description

  • Own production planning and scheduling across the Mission Systems portfolio, translating program milestones into actionable build plans with material need dates and labor allocations.
  • Build and maintain demand forecasts and planning tools that connect delivery schedules to procurement lead times, production capacity, and supplier commitments.
  • Drive supply chain strategy and execution by managing vendor relationships, tracking critical-path components, and mitigating material shortages or lead-time risks.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Program Management to improve design-to-production handoffs and remove bottlenecks.
  • Develop and maintain production tracking tools that provide real-time visibility into build status, yield rates, work-in-progress inventory, and delivery timelines.
  • Translate demand, supply chain, and production data into executive-level operational narratives for leadership decisions on capacity investments and make/buy choices.
  • Identify and resolve gaps between program commitments and production or supply chain capacity before they affect delivery timelines or unit cost targets.
  • Support special projects such as supplier qualification, production line standup, inventory optimization, and cross-divisional process alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Program Management, or Consulting, ideally in a hardware-focused, high-growth environment.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to manage dependencies across engineering releases, procurement, production schedules, and field delivery dates.
  • Highly autonomous, with the ability to identify constraints, build fixes, and brief leadership without needing direction.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to model complex production and supply chain data and turn it into actionable plans and forecasts.
  • Comfort operating across organizational boundaries and driving alignment between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior executives and drive accountability on the factory floor.
  • High ownership and low ego, with willingness to handle both strategic planning and hands-on operational follow-through.
  • U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling tools, or supply chain planning platforms is a strong plus.
