Description

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and agents across the GTM lifecycle.
  • Evolve automation from deterministic rules toward agentic logic with guardrails, audit trails, and human review.
  • Translate ambiguous operational problems into scoped, shippable builds.
  • Build and scale production automations across the revenue stack using Workato and custom code when needed.
  • Own reliability through observability, retries, alerting, safe failure paths, and human review.
  • Build revenue operations workflows for lead routing, lifecycle management, enrichment orchestration, territory and account ownership, and pipeline governance.
  • Design and ship internal applications using AI-native development tools and modern web stacks.
  • Use Gong’s own platform internally to prototype new AI capabilities and revenue workflows.
  • Ship builds with performance tracking and measure impact through business outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales, SDR, Customer Success, and Marketing stakeholders to test, document, and roll out solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building automations, internal tools, or production software.
  • Experience shipping working software with code in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Fluency with APIs and webhooks, with version control used by default.
  • Regular use of LLMs and AI coding tools to ship real business workflows.
  • Understanding of prompting, evaluation, tool use, and AI failure modes.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Workato, Zapier, n8n, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with the modern GTM stack, including Salesforce, Clay, Snowflake, dbt, and Gong.
  • Commercial instinct and comfort working directly with sellers and GTM leaders.
  • Strong focus on reliability, including fallback logic, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Curious, experimental builder mindset with strong async writing.
  • Deep technical fluency is a plus, but not required.
