Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Elixir and Python.
  • Build and support both early-stage and mature production systems for the imaging data platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy.
  • Own projects from concept through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor engineers and help improve code quality, development standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Help establish scalable processes and frameworks that support company growth.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the engineering stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience building and deploying production-grade applications using Elixir and/or Python.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Ability to independently drive projects and manage competing priorities.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring engineers or serving in a technical leadership role (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare technology, health data, medical imaging, or regulated environments (preferred).
