Description

  • Lead the design, development, delivery, and operation of infrastructure management platforms and automation systems.
  • Build scalable services and integrations for provisioning, networking, IPAM, DNS, CMDB, and asset management workflows.
  • Use modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools to deliver internal tooling and automation.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, utilization, and efficiency.
  • Make architectural decisions for complex, ambiguous, and cross-cutting infrastructure challenges.
  • Mentor engineers and establish reusable engineering patterns and practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience building full-stack solutions with Python and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs using web fundamentals such as HTTP, JSON, and authentication.
  • Experience delivering complex software systems or automation platforms spanning multiple services or infrastructure domains.
  • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases, Redis or similar data stores, Git, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience driving technical solutions from problem definition through production delivery and operational support.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, SaltStack, ServiceNow, CMDB, AWS, OpenStack, VMware, observability platforms, or infrastructure orchestration is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, and developing reusable engineering patterns is preferred.
