Description

  • Design, develop, and test scalable backend services using Python and SQL.
  • Implement security rule engines, policy checks, and threat detection mechanisms within cloud APIs.
  • Interface with AWS Step Functions, Batch jobs, and Athena queries.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize backend systems for availability, latency, and stability.
  • Collaborate with security researchers, frontend and API developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready code.],

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming, data structures, asynchronous coding, and testing frameworks.
  • Basic familiarity with AWS and networking concepts such as VPCs, security groups, and load balancers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 0–3 years of software development experience; relevant project or internship experience is welcomed.
  • Experience or exposure to stream processing, batch processing, or data pipeline tools such as Glue, PySpark, or Pandas.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and networking.
