Description

  • Own and lead end-to-end sales cycles for complex, high-impact school district accounts across a defined territory.
  • Conduct senior administrator-level discovery to align district priorities, funding streams, and instructional initiatives with Goalbook’s solutions.
  • Design and execute tailored account strategies to navigate extended, multi-stakeholder buying environments and close deals.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with cabinet-level and senior district leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Architect deal structures that support sustained instructional impact and future expansion.
  • Translate large district buyer insights into feedback that informs the product roadmap and enterprise messaging.
  • Maintain and forecast the pipeline across complex, multi-year enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with peers to exchange market knowledge and best practices and strengthen the team’s sales capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in the K-12 EdTech industry with demonstrated success closing large school district deals.
  • Special education solution-related experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-year sales cycles and navigate complex, matrixed decision-making environments.
  • Comfortable and persuasive when engaging with top-level administrators at large school districts.
  • Strong ability to align solutions with customer budgets and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Proven track record as part of a collaborative, high-performing sales team.
  • Remote role; ideally based in the greater Chicago Metro area or New York City, or in Midwest cities within 45 minutes of a major airport.
