Description

  • Design end-to-end business processes across CRM, ERP, CPQ, billing, customer service, and financial systems.
  • Create high-level architectures, decision records, reference patterns, data models, mappings, and integration designs for major initiatives.
  • Partner with Applications, Integration, RPA, Data, Security, Infrastructure, and AI teams to guide implementation and resolve technical ambiguity.
  • Architect integrations, APIs, event-driven systems, data pipelines, data warehouses, reverse ETL, and AI retrieval and grounding patterns.
  • Govern platform changes, data models, third-party packages, supported versions, and quarterly health checks across Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora, Zendesk, and Workato.
  • Define security, privacy, residency, SOX, identity, access-control, and AI data-handling requirements.
  • Build proofs of concept and personally resolve complex architectural and production issues.
  • Manage technical debt, optimize cloud and platform consumption, and drive remediation through upgrades, migrations, and funded projects.
  • Lead through influence by reviewing designs, making trade-offs, and communicating architectural decisions to technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in application and data architecture, with working fluency in business and technology architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with integration, automation, applied AI, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, agent orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Experience architecting ERP, CRM, CPQ, billing, financial, and customer service platforms in SOX-compliant environments.
  • Expert knowledge of data modeling, enterprise integration patterns, API design, data warehouses, and ELT, ETL, and reverse ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato and production integration operations, including cost and consumption optimization.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, identity and access management, secrets handling, reliability, scalability, and non-functional requirements.
  • Ability to apply AI across architecture domains and determine when embedded domain AI or shared enterprise AI is appropriate.
  • Demonstrated success driving architectural change through influence, including standards adoption and stakeholder communication.
  • Fluency in cross-functional business processes such as quote-to-cash, renewals, billing, revenue recognition, and record-to-report.
