Description

  • Support strategic large prospects and customers as a trusted advisor throughout their DevSecOps journey.
  • Drive the full sales cycle in large enterprise accounts, from prospecting and qualification through development and closing.
  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales account management to ensure customers realize value from the platform.
  • Coordinate with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Support, and channel partners to design and execute account strategies.
  • Develop structured account plans based on customer needs, including opportunity mapping and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage multi-threaded engagement across technical and business stakeholders to drive adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Ensure successful rollout and ongoing adoption through proactive account management and regular business reviews.
  • Prepare accurate activity and forecast reports and contribute to win/loss analysis and lessons learned.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and product ideas with internal teams.
  • Create proposals, quotes, and presentations that connect GitLab solutions to customer business objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience driving complex B2B software sales cycles with large enterprises, ideally in DevSecOps, software development tools, or adjacent SaaS solutions.
  • Proven success selling into large strategic organizations and building trusted relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage complex opportunities with a high degree of account control and minimal supervision.
  • Experience generating new business and expanding existing accounts through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales motions.
  • Experience collaborating with strategic channel partners to develop opportunities, co-sell, and support customer adoption.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred experience with Git, software development tools, application lifecycle management, or security/application security tools.
  • Alignment with GitLab values and willingness to use GitLab in daily work.
  • Ability to travel if needed, following GitLab’s travel policy.
