Description

  • Partner with customers to translate pre-sales plans and business outcomes into clear, actionable objectives.
  • Guide customers on GitLab platform use cases, best practices, and adoption strategies.
  • Map and manage the customer journey across current and future adoption opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary GitLab liaison for a book of customers and coordinate responses to questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, Engineering, and other teams to resolve customer needs and share feedback.
  • Own a book of business and drive product adoption, customer retention, growth, and overall satisfaction.
  • Stay current on GitLab releases and proactively educate customers on new capabilities and improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience working directly with customers to understand goals and translate business outcomes into actionable objectives.
  • Understanding of Git, branching strategies, and the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to learn and explain the GitLab platform, best practices, and use cases to support customer adoption.
  • Background in customer success or a related function focused on adoption, retention, satisfaction, and account growth.
  • Experience managing a portfolio or book of customers and tracking progress against outcomes.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values and the ability to work as a self-directed team player in an all-remote environment.
  • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including transferable experience from varied backgrounds.
