Description

  • Perform installation, audit, assessment, maintenance, and support of Genetec systems at client sites.
  • Serve as a primary on-site and remote technical point of contact for key projects with Genetec partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain deep working knowledge of Genetec’s solution portfolio.
  • Document all activities, service interventions, and anomalies encountered in Genetec systems.
  • Escalate critical customer issues promptly through the proper channels.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into functional requirements for product improvements.
  • Provide consulting and guidance on best practices, upgrades, integrations, training, and change requests.
  • Manage some of the projects you are involved in.
  • Support proof-of-concept, staging, system deployment, commissioning, audits, and system assessments.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to listen and adapt to different personalities and situations.
  • Comfortable interfacing with key stakeholders at major accounts in sensitive situations.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting security systems, including video surveillance systems and access control systems.
  • Excellent administration and troubleshooting knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Active Directory, SQL, file sharing, IIS, clustering, GPO, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and IP protocols, with experience configuring and troubleshooting switches and routers.
  • Knowledge of network storage concepts and best practices, including SAN, NAS, and iSCSI.
  • Database query and management skills.
  • Understanding of server virtualization concepts.
  • Experience with encryption and certificates.
  • PowerShell experience is an asset.
