Description

  • Engage stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, decision-making processes, and key metrics.
  • Translate business information needs into technical specifications for the Business Architect, Data Analyst, BI team, and Digital Information department.
  • Design how information is structured, captured, accessed, and flows across systems such as CRM, ERP, marketing, and operations.
  • Collaborate with BI developers, data analysts, data engineers, and business units to ensure technical solutions meet business goals.
  • Establish policies for data quality, security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain metadata, data catalogs, naming conventions, modeling standards, and architectural documentation.
  • Manage and enhance data and information security protocols to support compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support the design and enhancement of Business Intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methods.
  • Develop communication materials with the Transformation team, such as playbooks, transition guides, and FAQs.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and the Digital Information department and perform additional duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • TOGAF certification in Enterprise Architecture.
  • Proven experience as an Information Analyst, Data Architect, or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages to analyze datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information accurately.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and KPIs across departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured data models and information flows.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a simple, understandable way.
  • CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) is considered an asset.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional groups toward common goals, multitask across multiple product launches, and thrive in ambiguity.
