Description

  • Own end-to-end solution designs on Databricks and Azure for each requirement set.
  • Translate data-team constraints and capabilities into clear options for business and digital teams.
  • Govern architecture standards, including Unity Catalog, integration patterns, medallion architecture, and non-functional requirements.
  • Evaluate trade-offs such as speed versus completeness and latency versus cost, and provide written recommendations.
  • Collaborate with client platform architects to align designs with enterprise standards.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in BI or data warehouse design, data engineering, and architecture.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture and data modeling.
  • Experience with Unity Catalog, medallion architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Ability to work fully remotely from LATAM.
  • Professional-level English proficiency.
  • Relevant Databricks, Microsoft Azure, data engineering, or cloud architecture certification preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale data platform transformation or migration programs preferred.
  • Must provide a personal laptop and permit required security software and device-management tools to be installed.
