Description

  • Grow market share and adoption of Genetec products within public safety and public administration accounts.
  • Expand existing customer portfolios by understanding current environments and long-term goals.
  • Close product adoption gaps and help customers fully use the platform.
  • Build customer advocacy and develop end-user references within the public safety community.
  • Prospect and pursue new business opportunities to win new logo accounts.
  • Understand buyer stages and influence the purchasing process, including grant positioning and RFP support.
  • Collaborate with channel partners, PAE, Sales Engineers, SMEs, and the partner team on account plans and demand generation.
  • Attend public safety and public administration tradeshows and contribute to regional and national user groups.
  • Maintain disciplined, strategic, and timely CRM activity.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, industry expertise, and use of internal systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of operations, compliance requirements, and workflows within public safety and public administration agencies.
  • Established relationships within the public safety / public administration verticals.
  • Proven ability to sell to committees and navigate complex, hierarchical procurement environments.
  • Strong understanding of how Genetec products align with end-user operations and workflows.
  • Familiarity with vertical-specific tradeshows, associations, and publications.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement processes and requirements used by public sector end users.
  • Ability to anticipate product and market needs based on vertical-specific trends.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Genetec platform as it relates to public safety and public administration.
  • Exceptional time management and territory planning skills, especially for roles requiring significant travel.
