Description

  • Execute outbound partnership strategies for existing, new, and upcoming products and services.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal drafting through close for pre-launch and post-launch protocols.
  • Meet quarterly sales revenue and/or TVL KPIs.
  • Improve the Growth team's systems and processes that support scaling the sales function.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance to validate and refine Gauntlet's positioning in target verticals.
  • Nurture opportunities across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Represent Gauntlet at key conferences and industry events, including occasional to frequent travel.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of crypto/DeFi-native business development, partnerships, or governance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience structuring, negotiating, and closing partnerships.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance teams.
  • Deep understanding of DeFi primitives such as lending protocols, perpetuals, and restaking.
  • Technical or mathematical background with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the DeFi landscape and emerging trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple time zones.
  • Preferred: crypto-native network, direct experience with a DeFi protocol, elected DAO role or foundation experience, and a proven track record closing difficult deals.
