Description

  • Provide expert HR support for Canadian employee lifecycle events, payroll, benefits, and employment matters.
  • Advise customers on Canadian HR practices, employment legislation, compliance, and market norms.
  • Manage Canadian payroll providers, benefits brokers, HR advisors, and other service partners.
  • Collaborate with Customer Services on client acquisition and ongoing customer relationships.
  • Support compliant offboarding and termination processes in Canada.
  • Maintain accurate customer and professional data across internal portals and vendor platforms.
  • Lead cross-functional compliance projects and contribute subject-matter expertise to local and global initiatives.
  • Adopt product and AI initiatives to improve HR workflows, automate routine tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Resolve complex client and professional issues through analytical thinking, negotiation, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, International Business, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws and local HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while collaborating effectively with teams.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and capable of solving unfamiliar problems within regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer-service skills.
  • Experience working internationally with sensitivity to diverse cultural norms and communication styles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint; experience using AI productivity tools.
  • Availability to work flexible hours across international time zones and immediate availability to start.

  • Annual gross fixed pay of $81,600–$102,000 plus variable compensation.
