Description

  • Create high-quality evergreen and Discover content for homebuilding.co.uk.
  • Write SEO-driven articles that align with EEAT signals and target critical search terms.
  • Use personal knowledge and input from industry experts to develop authoritative content.
  • Turn around content quickly and accurately, with the goal of publishing work independently.
  • Contribute ideas in team planning sessions to support content strategy.
  • Promote articles through social posts and newsletter inclusions to maximize reach.
  • Identify ecommerce and monetization opportunities within content.
  • Run the social media channels for Homebuilding and Plotfinder.
  • Represent the brand at Homebuilding & Renovating Shows when required.
  • Monitor performance data, trends, and analytics to inform editorial decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience creating content for websites, with evidence of relevant learning and skills.
  • Strong SEO expertise and the ability to use analytical tools to shape content.
  • Experience identifying keywords and writing content designed to rank for them.
  • Interest in and understanding of the homes media space, ideally including self-build and renovation.
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to write sharp headlines and maintain tight grammar control.
  • Ability to choose appropriate images that help attract readers.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
  • Willingness to attend meetings at Future plc offices as required.
  • Experience with the data side of web editing and monitoring performance and trends.
  • UK remote-based role.
  • Internal job family level E6.
