Description

  • Deliver live online training sessions on Tableau and data visualization concepts.
  • Teach core topics including data storytelling, data preparation, charts, dashboards, interactive reports, filters, parameters, sets, advanced visualizations, and dashboard design best practices.
  • Provide hands-on support for lab activities and projects.
  • Mentor learners and resolve technical or conceptual questions during instruction and office hours.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and mock sessions when required.
  • Maintain session quality metrics, learner engagement, and accurate documentation of student performance.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal instructional and program teams on curriculum updates and learner feedback.
  • Support students through regular communication about progress, expectations, and milestones.
  • Escalate academic or performance concerns and support improvement plans when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop/Server.
  • Experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
  • Solid understanding of data preparation and interpretation.
  • Prior experience delivering online or classroom training is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Tableau certification is preferred, including Desktop Specialist, Associate, or Professional.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel, or Python for data analysis is preferred.
  • Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Looker is preferred.
  • Ability to work 8–12 hours per week with evening availability, including weekday CST evening sessions and weekend morning sessions.

Benefits

  • $55–$60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Part-time, non-exempt role with compensation for all hours worked.
  • Remote work arrangement (#LI-REMOTE).
