Description

  • Design and implement the full CRO operating system, including intake, prioritization, documentation, QA, and retrospective processes.
  • Own the full test lifecycle from ideation and briefing through design, development, QA, launch, analysis, rollout, and documentation.
  • Maintain a prioritized, always-active testing backlog and run 12+ experiments per month, scaling toward 20+ tests.
  • Write clear, actionable experiment briefs that help Design and Dev execute efficiently with minimal back-and-forth.
  • Translate winning tests into scaled implementations and documented learnings in the Growth playbook.
  • Build a closed-loop process between paid media, creative, design, and analytics so insights continuously inform future hypotheses.
  • Own conversion rate performance across paid landing pages, funnels, and checkout flows by audience and channel.
  • Improve new customer conversion rate, NC-ROAS, and funnel drop-off through high-velocity experimentation.
  • Optimize for first-order contribution margin by evaluating tests on revenue per visitor and profit impact, not conversion rate alone.
  • Own offer and funnel architecture, including pricing presentation, subscription framing, bump mechanics, upsells, and cross-sells.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on CRO experience in a DTC or performance marketing environment.
  • Proven experience building a CRO program from scratch rather than inheriting an existing mature program.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Intelligems, VWO, Optimizely, or equivalent tools.
  • Strong understanding of the full acquisition funnel, including ad, landing page, offer, and checkout as one connected system.
  • Deep knowledge of offer architecture, including PPU sequencing, subscription framing, bump mechanics, and AOV levers.
  • Data literacy, including statistical significance, clean test design, and ability to interpret results independently.
  • Ability to write crisp, actionable briefs that unblock Design and Dev without heavy back-and-forth.
  • Ability to work full overlap with US Eastern or Central time zone hours; Eastern time zone is ideal.
  • Bonus: experience at a DTC subscription brand.
  • Bonus: background in direct-response or performance creative environments.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Shopify or headless ecommerce stacks.
  • Bonus: experience with contribution margin modeling.
