Description

  • Grow, mentor, and manage a distributed global sales team.
  • Design, implement, and manage a strategic sales plan to expand FreeBalance’s presence in the global PFM advisory, training, and solutions market.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from planning to close to meet or exceed global sales quotas and profitability targets.
  • Coordinate sales activities and strategic initiatives across regional sales teams and partners.
  • Deliver customer-centric presentations and proposals to prospects and government customers.
  • Prepare and present sales and revenue reports and provide accurate forecasts to the management team.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, prospects, partners, and other key stakeholders by understanding country contexts.
  • Manage sales pipelines and new opportunities using a customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Oversee proposals, tenders, and contract negotiations in accordance with FreeBalance pricing guidelines.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and through regular international travel.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • MBA considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling advisory services and solutions internationally.
  • Extensive sales, sales management, and leadership experience with the global public sector.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly at senior-level meetings with government officials.
  • Demonstrated personnel development and mentoring experience.
  • Understanding of budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience delivering sales training and developing sales capability.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills with ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing client/market demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
