Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including customer contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, procurement terms, and amendments.
  • Act as the primary interface with customers on contractual matters and monitor obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Review contract terms to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies across financial, delivery, warranty, IP, termination, indemnification, and related areas.
  • Support deal deployment by structuring contracts, pricing frameworks, and operational setup for new customer and partner engagements.
  • Develop scalable contracting solutions, including template management, playbooks, and automation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, IT/Security, and legal team members to streamline contract management and improve processes.
  • Implement and administer the CLM platform, including redline workflows, approval routing, Salesforce integration, and automated tracking.
  • Support procurement activities by evaluating vendor terms, tracking renewals, and managing pricing insights across the vendor portfolio.
  • Handle office operations matters such as lease administration, vendor and facilities management, and HQ building support.
  • Advise on information security, compliance, intellectual property, and data privacy matters, including drafting DPAs and responding to privacy questions.
  • Support internal scaling initiatives, including office expansion, international operational setup, DOD compliance support, risk management, and audit preparation.
  • Monitor regulatory and contractual obligations and proactively flag milestones, renewals, and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or equivalent legal training.
  • 3+ years of paralegal or contracts experience, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or fast-growth company.
  • Direct experience with strategic business agreements, information security and compliance, intellectual property, and data privacy, including negotiating DPAs.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial contract structures, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with CLM platforms and/or security/compliance tools such as Summize, Ironclad, or DocuSign.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM and how contracts integrate with deal workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams independently.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment with evolving processes.
  • Versatile self-starter who can independently handle ad hoc security, compliance, and legal requests.
  • Experience with office lease administration and facilities management.
  • Familiarity with DOD compliance requirements or government contracting standards.
  • Knowledge of international operations, entity setup, or cross-border contracting.
  • Exposure to construction industry contracts, lien waivers, or project-based procurement.
  • Experience supporting a Deal Desk or Revenue Operations function.
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy frameworks as applied to commercial agreements.

Benefits

  • Estimated base salary range of $85,000 to $115,000 per year.
  • Eligibility for a corporate bonus of up to 30%.
  • Fully remote option within the United States.
