Description

  • Own technical sales engagements from discovery through close.
  • Deliver tailored demos focused on customer business outcomes.
  • Translate customer workflows into Federato configurations, including quoting, rating, endorsements, and portfolio optimization.
  • Lead RFP and security questionnaire completion with Product and Security teams.
  • Build and maintain reusable demo environments for target customer segments.
  • Develop onboarding materials, configuration libraries, and example rating logic.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales and Product Marketing to refine messaging frameworks and technical collateral.
  • Co-define and continuously improve the pre-sales lifecycle, including discovery, solutioning, and handoffs.
  • Create and maintain shared team assets such as discovery playbooks, configuration scopes, success criteria templates, and demo walkthroughs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align the roadmap with customer pain points and surface recurring objections or product gaps.
  • Provide post-sale context to Implementation and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with demos, architecture design, and enterprise sales support.
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge, or the curiosity and ability to learn it quickly.
  • Familiarity with policy lifecycle management, rating, quoting, and underwriting systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical value to both executive stakeholders and practitioners.
  • Coding competence in JavaScript and SQL.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Experience in the insurance technology or insurtech space is preferred.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $175,000 to $195,000.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $245,000 to $275,000.
  • Stock options as part of total compensation.
