Description

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, the competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs.
  • Develop and implement regional market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers, including livestock producers and distributors.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of strategic target accounts.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers through meetings, technical discussions, and farm visits.
  • Understand customer operational challenges and present lighting solutions that improve farm productivity and animal welfare.
  • Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements.
  • Manage customer expectations around delivery timelines and product performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery and project implementation.
  • Provide basic technical support, including product demonstrations, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and respond to customer complaints promptly.
  • Work with marketing, product development, and technical teams to share market insights and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Animal Science, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the livestock industry, agricultural technology, farming equipment, or agricultural solutions.
  • Proven success in B2B enterprise sales or new market development.
  • Strong consultative selling and solution-selling capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • English required.
  • Chinese working proficiency required.
  • Experience working with large farming enterprises or livestock producers is preferred.
  • An existing network in poultry, swine, or agricultural production industries is preferred.
  • Background in agricultural equipment or livestock technologies is preferred.
