Description

  • Host partner webinars to provide product updates, sales enablement, and training on Extreme programs and solutions.
  • Own short-term and long-term goals for channel partners in the region by supporting the creation of partner account plans.
  • Develop the territory channel development plan, map tiered partners to opportunities, and help recruit and onboard new partners.
  • Coordinate planning with channel teammate resources such as channel marketing, channel sales engineers, and channel operations.
  • Secure partner commitment to account plans and associated activities and investments.
  • Track major partner activities and Extreme opportunities in CRM (SFDC).
  • Maintain day-to-day visibility, timely responses, and relationship building within partner organizations.
  • Strengthen partners’ visibility and perception within Extreme’s sales organization and advocate for their capabilities internally.
  • Manage communication follow-through to partners and ensure execution of the “last mile” communication plan.
  • Drive rules of engagement across Channel Partners, Inside Sales, Account Executives, System Engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with escalations, RMAs, part numbers, sales tool development, development funds, and order operations.
  • Facilitate regular sales updates and training sessions on Extreme solutions, product programs, and sales strategies.
  • Host regular conference calls with channel partners to review products, programs, training, marketing activities, and account concerns.

Requirements

  • Reseller or channel sales experience.
  • High level of business acumen with understanding of partner go-to-market strategies and economics.
  • Ability to interpret income statements and assess partners’ fiscal health.
  • Ability to understand partners’ key success criteria and align Extreme’s business within theirs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Residence in Arizona is required.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, specifically SFDC, is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with channel marketing, sales engineering, and operations resources is preferred.
