Description

  • Develop and execute a territory plan for the Northern UK&I Public Sector market.
  • Build and manage pipeline to identify, progress, and close mid-term business opportunities.
  • Create business plans and marketing activity plans with UKI leadership and regional channel partners.
  • Work with partners and end-user customers to expand Extreme Networks’ influence and reach.
  • Manage new business development and existing customer relationships to achieve annual quota.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations between Extreme Networks and partners when needed.
  • Support partner sales planning and sales activity to drive revenue.
  • Communicate Extreme’s service model to support smooth after-sales processes and long-term customer and partner satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Successful apprenticeship or university degree in an economic or business-related subject.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the network infrastructure arena.
  • Proven experience managing the Northern UK&I Public Sector region from Midlands to Scotland.
  • Primary vertical experience in Healthcare, Local Government, Government, and Blue Light sectors.
  • Evidence of strong customer relationships with CXO and IT decision makers.
  • Demonstrated success managing a large territory and delivering consistent sales against plan and forecast.
  • Experience developing new customer acquisition, including cold calling, in greenfield territory.
  • Ability to discuss Cloud SaaS, Data Networking, SDN, Virtualization, Security, Orchestration, AI-driven Networking, and server/storage considerations.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with the ability to work at all levels.
  • High self-motivation, strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills for independent work with limited local support.
  • Prior experience establishing a remote sales site from a home-office setup is desired.
  • Confidence in partner-led selling, solution selling, outcome-based selling, and the MEDDPICC sales process.
