Description

  • Build and maintain core platform components including SSO, access management, clusters, networking, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Own Terraform modules, baseline configurations, and guardrails for distributed teams.
  • Design and evolve platform golden paths, secure defaults, templates, and standards.
  • Maintain platform infrastructure as code, including Terraform modules, state design, and multi-account governance.
  • Integrate with team-owned CDK stacks through stable platform contracts.
  • Lead the evolution of platform abstraction layers and service catalogs.
  • Design and manage a multi-account AWS landing zone, including Organizations, SCPs, and permissions boundaries.
  • Own developer onboarding patterns, including IAM SSO access, automation, and pipelines.
  • Build safe cross-account deployment workflows using GitHub OIDC and least-privilege principles.
  • Design and operate ECS and EKS clusters used by hundreds of services.
  • Establish best practices for container execution, networking, and autoscaling.
  • Manage central networking components such as VPC, Transit Gateway, and Route53.
  • Ensure secure east-west communication between workloads in different accounts.
  • Provide self-service tools, templates, documentation, workshops, patterns, and architectural guidance.
  • Operate and evolve platform-wide logging, metrics, tracing, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud architecture in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience running and operating software in production at scale.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines that support everyday releases.
  • Knowledge of Git.
  • Cloud-native approach to software and infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.
  • Coding experience in several languages such as TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience setting up monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Azure Insights, or Kibana.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with API gateways.
  • Knowledge of cloud and network security.
  • Ability to write clean documentation.
  • Experience with design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based software architecture and solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum philosophies and methods.
  • Upper-Intermediate English.
