Description

  • Build and maintain agentic workflow components on the Duo Agent Platform, including the Core Agentic Workflow and Requirements Agent.
  • Write tests, documentation, and evaluations for agentic-workflow behavior.
  • Contribute to the platform requirements knowledge base by adding requirements, evolving the schema, and improving validation tooling.
  • Build integration surfaces in issues, merge requests, design documents, and CI/CD pipelines to support feature teams.
  • Collaborate with platform teams such as Infrastructure, Security, and Data to translate expertise into structured requirements and readiness artifacts.
  • Write clear and concise documentation and evaluations that improve assessment accuracy.
  • Support the development of platform readiness automation and AI-driven systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience with a backend focus.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Python, or Golang.
  • Comfort reading and contributing to schemas such as YAML and JSON Schema.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and reasoning about failure modes.
  • Ability to work asynchronously and communicate clearly in writing.
  • Exposure to LLM APIs, prompts, or agentic frameworks.
  • Ruby familiarity is preferred.
  • Experience with GitLab-style workflows, including issues, epics, merge requests, and CI/CD, is highly valued.
  • Open source contributions are highly valued.
  • Interest in developer experience or platform engineering is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with an agentic workflow framework such as DAP or LangGraph is a strong plus.
  • Experience contributing to a structured requirements or specification body is a strong plus.
  • Observability instincts and interest in measuring system behavior are a strong plus.
