Description

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that provide key business insights.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Power BI to support efficient integration and reporting performance.
  • Create and manage Power BI Dataflows by connecting and transforming data from multiple sources.
  • Write SQL queries to retrieve, clean, and transform data from databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Use DAX to build measures and calculated columns for deeper analysis.
  • Publish, share, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards in the Power BI Service.
  • Organize reports in Power BI workspaces and manage user permissions and access rights.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis with a strong focus on Power BI.
  • Proficiency in DAX for calculations and data modeling.
  • Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
  • Experience publishing, sharing, and managing reports in the Power BI Service, including workspace administration.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data retrieval.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in oral and written English.
  • Experience integrating Power BI with Microsoft tools such as Excel and Azure, or with third-party applications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Power BI AI capabilities, machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch, and automated insights (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas, especially in SQL Server Data Warehouse environments (preferred).
  • Experience with ETL processes using SQL and database management practices such as indexing, optimization, and maintenance (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Azure Document Intelligence for document extraction and BI workflow integration (preferred).
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Scientist Associate or Power BI Data Analyst (preferred).
