Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making.
  • Translate Everpure and ecosystem technologies into measurable customer outcomes.
  • Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to support revenue growth and new business.
  • Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive offerings.
  • Lead customer evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
  • Deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects.
  • Capture customer requirements and turn business needs into innovative solutions.
  • Drive interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing on whitepapers and other sales materials.
  • Stay current on competition, market trends, and solution positioning.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based solution architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices (preferred).
  • Prior experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing to or leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of storage architectures such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-prem, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Familiarity with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures (preferred).
  • Experience with storage-intensive applications such as SQL and Oracle databases is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.

  • Annual base salary range of $141,400 to $234,500 USD.
