Description

  • Meet with high school students and parents over Zoom to assess academic credentials, achievements, and goals.
  • Present Empowerly’s college admissions programs and explain the value of its solutions to families.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualifying inbound leads through closing enrollments.
  • Accurately forecast the sales pipeline and track deal progress.
  • Generate direct referrals from customers you have supported.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to hit sales goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to students and families.
  • Drive revenue to achieve individual, team, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Track all deal data in HubSpot, including deal source and close time, to improve sales strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of quota-carrying B2C sales experience.
  • Strongly preferred: experience in both B2C and B2B sales of intangible products or services.
  • Strongly preferred: experience selling within the college admissions consulting space.
  • Consulting experience helping students gain admission to top universities.
  • Experience selling higher-value education services while exceeding quota.
  • 3–5 years of experience working remotely on an inside sales team.
  • Knowledge of the college admissions space is preferred.
  • Consultative selling experience.
  • Proficiency with SaaS platforms, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
  • Availability to work 10am–7pm PST and at least one weekend day per week.
  • Must be a U.S. resident and perform the role from within the U.S. at all times.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
