Description

  • Answer inbound calls from prospective students in English or Spanish and serve as the first point of contact.
  • Qualify each student’s goals, career interests, and enrollment timeline.
  • Recommend the most suitable training program across both campuses.
  • Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process and complete enrollments when possible.
  • Send enrollment paperwork and explain next steps clearly.
  • Explain program details such as curriculum, schedules, length, start dates, and career outcomes.
  • Educate students on funding options, including VA Education Benefits and applicable state workforce programs.
  • Address tuition, timing, and career-related objections professionally and confidently.
  • Follow up with prospective students who have not yet enrolled and maintain communication until a decision is made.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM or admissions system and coordinate with campus staff on class availability and onboarding requirements.

Requirements

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, spoken and written.
  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, phone sales, or a consultative sales role.
  • Proven ability to handle objections and close sales or enrollments over the phone.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Experience using CRM or call-tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Professional phone presence and customer service skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office.
  • Previous admissions or enrollment experience at a vocational, trade, or career school (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of VA Education Benefits or state workforce funding programs (nice to have).
  • Experience selling educational, healthcare, or vocational training programs (nice to have).
  • Experience working with both healthcare and skilled trades education programs (nice to have).
