Description

  • Own the technical architecture for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain landscape, focusing on procurement and sales cycles.
  • Define target architecture, extension strategy, and technical standards while ensuring customizations remain upgrade-safe and maintainable.
  • Lead technical delivery for D365 F&O implementations, market and legal-entity rollouts, and legacy-system migrations through cutover and hypercare.
  • Design and execute data migration strategies using Data Management Framework (DMF), including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and high-volume performance.
  • Architect and govern integrations between D365 F&O and third-party or legacy systems using APIs, events, batch processes, and middleware.
  • Own environment strategy, Azure services, PPAC and LCS administration, and Azure DevOps CI/CD and ALM pipelines.
  • Plan and lead One Version updates, quality updates, and platform upgrades, including regression testing and release readiness.
  • Drive platform performance, security, monitoring, alerting, and observability.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs with consultants, product owners, and stakeholders; conduct design and code reviews.
  • Build and review critical X++ components, troubleshoot complex issues, document technical decisions, and assess ISVs and build-versus-buy options.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain (formerly AX), including technical architect or technical lead experience on full implementations.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale D365 F&O implementations and migrations end to end.
  • Hands-on experience supporting procurement and sales cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of D365 F&O architecture and extensibility, including Chain of Command, event handlers, and extensions over overlayering.
  • Strong X++ proficiency, including SysOperation, set-based operations, DMF, and the F&O security framework.
  • Experience defining environment and deployment strategies across development, test, UAT, and production.
  • Strong Azure knowledge, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, Data Lake, and Azure AD managed identities and service principals.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and ALM, LCS, PPAC, production monitoring, telemetry, and alerting.
  • Experience designing enterprise integrations, API consumption and design, OAuth 2.0, secure data exchange, and legacy ERP data migrations.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform tools, Dynamics ISVs, performance optimization, and technical leadership across business and technical stakeholders.
