Description

  • Define business problems and formalize machine learning objectives for pricing, forecasting, optimization, incident prioritization, and customer journey efficiency.
  • Lead machine learning projects end to end, from problem definition and modeling through piloting and presenting results.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to source required datasets and assess implementation feasibility.
  • Partner with analysts to design A/B tests, including metrics, experiment splits, and result interpretation.
  • Develop classical machine learning, deep learning, time series, and uplift modeling solutions.
  • Perform error analysis and evaluate model performance against relevant business and technical metrics.
  • Prepare models and code for handoff to production infrastructure while technical teams manage deployment and releases.
  • Own model quality, monitor key metrics, and collaborate on remediation and improvement plans when performance degrades.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end machine learning projects.
  • Strong knowledge of classical machine learning, including feature engineering, classification, regression, and boosting.
  • Hands-on experience with uplift modeling and time series applications in real business contexts.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders on pricing, B2C, LTV, retention, A/B testing, and optimization problems.
  • Proficiency in Python for data science and machine learning, including clean, readable model and experiment code.
  • Confident SQL skills for dataset construction, joins, and data analysis.
  • Experience with MLflow or DVC, Airflow or similar pipelines, anomaly detection or anti-fraud, deep learning with PyTorch or TensorFlow, and model monitoring is preferred.
