Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close across Emburse’s travel, expense, AP/invoice automation, payments, and corporate cards solutions.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using both inbound and outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points in finance, AP, and expense workflows.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and articulate business value and ROI to finance stakeholders and executive buyers.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles by building multi-threaded relationships with CFOs, Controllers, AP leaders, and other decision-makers.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Channel, and integration partners to advance and close opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting in Salesforce.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota targets.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive positioning, and product insights.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions, ideally in financial or spend management software.
  • Proven track record of closing five- and six-figure ARR deals.
  • Experience selling into organizations with 30–1000 employees, with SMB as the target segment.
  • Experience selling expense, AP/invoice automation, payments, or card solutions is preferred.
  • Strong track record of consistently exceeding quota is preferred.
  • Experience selling to finance personas such as CFOs, Controllers, Heads of AP, or Finance Operations leaders is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with ROI-based value selling is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance operations, including AP, expense, and payments workflows.
  • Strong CRM and forecasting discipline, including accurate Salesforce usage.
