Description

  • Develop and execute sales plans for Canadian retailers to deliver net sales growth, market share growth, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, demand planning, space planning, visual merchandising, and senior leadership teams to support account strategy and execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and customers.
  • Define account strategy and priorities based on account dynamics and local market specifics, including assortment, merchandising, and trade marketing plans.
  • Partner with demand planning to create complete and timely forecasts and provide monthly forecasting updates.
  • Manage assortment, planogram, launch, and promotion planning to ensure appropriate inventory levels and strong in-store and online presence.
  • Process accounting claim approvals, manage discontinued SKU shutoffs, and implement markdown strategies to reduce returns risk.
  • Support customer requests, administration tasks, fixture requests, samples, and listing forms in a timely manner.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast annual customer budgets and operating expenses to meet company financial goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the beauty industry or a CPG company working with Canadian retailers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to deliver results independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong planning, organizational, negotiation, and marketing skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations with effective communication skills.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent relationship-building, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • University or bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major.
  • Passion for beauty.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment (preferred).
