Description

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications supporting multiple business modules.
  • Build and maintain Java applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external system integrations.
  • Develop business logic, data access layers, batch processing capabilities, and reusable components.
  • Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using Angular and maintain JSP-based applications.
  • Support application modernization, code refactoring, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
  • Implement and support enterprise integrations, authentication, authorization, and secure file transfers.
  • Participate in release planning, deployments, regression testing, production support, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on cloud-hosted applications.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, UX designers, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Maven.
  • Experience developing modern web applications using Angular; React experience is also acceptable, and JSP familiarity is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, including SQL development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nexus.
  • Experience supporting CMS, HealthCare.gov, or other federal healthcare programs.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, authentication/authorization solutions, and production operations.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; must reside in the Continental US and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Preferred: experience in a federal government contracting environment, healthcare technologies, HIPAA, healthcare data integrations, automated testing, application modernization, cloud-native architectures, and secure software development/DevSecOps best practices.
  • Qualified individuals living in HUBZone-certified areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
