Description

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain web applications, enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
  • Support modernization efforts by enhancing existing applications and building new system capabilities.
  • Design and maintain interfaces between internal and external systems.
  • Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects, performance issues, and system integration challenges.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, code documentation, and procedures.
  • Support Agile activities, code reviews, CI/CD pipeline work, UAT, and post-deployment support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of software development experience supporting enterprise applications, systems, or technology programs.
  • Experience developing and maintaining web applications, enterprise applications, APIs, or integrated software solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL development, and data integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or hybrid development environments.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Experience performing software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Experience supporting DHS and/or CISA programs (preferred).
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or cloud-hosted application environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools (preferred).
  • Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Platform, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and system integration technologies (preferred).
  • Understanding of secure software development practices and cybersecurity principles (preferred).
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, enablement, or customer experience initiatives (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, Security+, or CSD (preferred).
