Description

  • Co-lead the design and development of software infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Develop sophisticated, stateful web applications with React-based front ends and modular backend services.
  • Serve as a technical leader in distributed systems and data technologies.
  • Drive technical innovation and research in emerging data technologies and best practices.
  • Mentor and support engineers through code reviews and architectural workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Adapt engineering practices to the evolving JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading projects.
  • Experience with full-stack web app development using JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipeline optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Remote role based in Colombia.
  • Occasional travel required for team or project meetings.
