Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and APIs for operations and sustainment activities.
  • Build and enhance landing pages, user-facing applications, and portal solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain user management applications and services for authentication, authorization, provisioning, and account management.
  • Develop and support user management APIs and integrations for secure identity and access management.
  • Maintain integrations with Okta APIs for SSO, MFA, identity federation, and user lifecycle management.
  • Design and support search APIs, search capabilities, and SEDIT API integrations.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, web services, and backend application components.
  • Create and maintain interfaces between internal systems, cloud services, identity providers, databases, and third-party platforms.
  • Perform unit, integration, and regression testing and remediate defects.
  • Troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, API failures, and integration problems.
  • Collaborate with analysts, system administrators, cybersecurity staff, and stakeholders.
  • Support releases, upgrades, deployments, patching, incident management, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, and operating procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
  • Experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications and APIs.
  • Experience with web application development, RESTful services, API development, and system integration.
  • Experience supporting identity and access management, user authentication, or user management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Okta, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, or similar identity federation technologies.
  • Experience developing database-driven applications and working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and development best practices.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability determination, Public Trust, Secret, or higher clearance.
  • Experience supporting DHS and/or CISA programs (preferred).
  • Experience with Landing Page, User Management, Okta API, Search API, SEDIT API, Dependency Management, PAA, or similar enterprise applications (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and Zero Trust principles (preferred).
  • Experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint, or Power Platform (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer Associate, Security+, or CSD (preferred).
